At Brush-Baby we are delighted to mention that we are now supporting the Buddy Bag Foundation, an inspiring organisation that puts together a bag of practical and comforting goodies for children taken into emergency care across the UK.
From the moment we first heard about the Buddy Bag Foundation’s mission to make a difference to children going through a traumatic experience, through the provision of bags designed to help ease some of their discomfort, we knew it was something we wanted to be a part of.
Sadly, over 48,000 UK children are taken into emergency care each year, but the Buddy Bag Foundation and its army of volunteers, have now packed and delivered over 10,000 Buddy Bags to these vulnerable children. With such a worthwhile cause, the team here at Brush-Baby are only too happy to help by donating some of our dental essentials for the bags.
Last week, Brush-Baby sent over a 3-month supply of our Flossbrushes, designed for ages 3-6 and 6+, as well as a supply of our Spearmint Toothpaste, for the next batch of bags.
Our products will join other items, including clean pyjamas, underwear and appropriate children’s activities, to try and keep children comfortable and occupied during extremely distressing circumstances.
The Buddy Bags can be a lifeline for these children, reminding them that there are people out there that care. If you’d like to join us in supporting this wonderful and worthwhile endeavour.
