Ways to make a difference
Fundraise for us
How you can help as an individual or a business
There are many ways you can raise money to help provide Buddy Bags. Fundraising can be a lot of fun and can be done anywhere – at work, at home, on your own or as part of a group.
From jumping out of a plane, dressing up as a superhero, organising a raffle, to fire walking.
From having a cake sale, to a fun run, climbing the peaks or marathon running, the possibilities are endless.
Make a difference
Every fundraising effort makes a difference to children in emergency care
Buddy Bag fundraisers can do almost anything to make a difference to children who have been victims of domestic violence. Here are different ways to get involved.
Whether you want to raise £1 or £1,000, there are hundreds of ways to achieve your target while enjoying yourself at the same time!
Remember, 100% of the funds we raise goes directly to supplying our Buddy Bags.
Fundraising ideas
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and a variety of backgrounds and so every one has different skills, experiences and networks who may be able to help us.
Whether your donation is time, money or skills, every single contribution of any kind is appreciated by the foundation.
Fundraising events are a great way to bring businesses, communities and individuals together to have fun and raise money for us.
Many of our supporters have taken part on a variety of events over the last few years and if you’re looking for inspiration, then look no further than at some of our wonderful fundraisers and the different events they have organised.
Our fundraisers
Sylvia Keris walked a total of 145 miles from Birmingham to Paddington to raise money for The Buddy Bag Foundation and Rotary’s End Polio Charity.
Our supporters have run marathons, sky-dived and cycled hundreds of miles to raise funds for The Buddy Bag Foundation.
The Peaky Blunders team completed the 3 Peaks Hiking Challenge walking the peaks of Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
Of course, there are the Buddy Bag packs. Communities and businesses can arrange their own Buddy Bag packs and fundraising activities too.
Our supporters have baked and sold cakes, attended balls, climbed Everest and swam in The Serpentine, all to fundraise and make a difference.
The team from AV Dawson completed a charity cycle from Edinburgh to Teeside and made a difference to the lives of 387 children.
We really appreciate and value all the work our volunteers do for the Foundation.
